The office look
Infamous for opting for casual attire on a day to day basis tis rare to see me suited and booted but fashion shows earlier this year were keen to turn this kind of ‘dress down behaviour’ around. Prada unleashed their winter collection, inspired by the concept of powerful men, worn upon the shoulders of Willem Dafoe, Tim Roth, Adrien Brody and Gary Oldman. Prada commented to media that “Clothing is a tool of power and a way to express male vanity” and to be honest we can’t argue with that.
Yes the smart office look is most definitely ‘in’ this winter, so if you normally wear a suit into work you’re half way there. Hardy Amies and their slick suited style featured heavily in Milan’s autumn – winter 2012 show, which is great because suits look good on everyone and busting out something cut and tailored will not only have you looking sharp, but layered up and in season too.

There are lots of suit options out there that don’t cost the earth but note that double breasted styles are in right now. Older styles and darker colours predominate most of the winter collections at the min, but as long as you stay within the winter shades colour scheme as the basis for your outfit and remember to keep it smart there are a number of variations that will work.
